Welcome to the Pomene Virtual Tour
Pomene Lodge is located on a narrow sand spit. Standing at reception one sees both the Indian Ocean on one east and the pristine Pomene estuary on the west. This remote spot is one of the most exquisite locations on the east coast of Africa. One does need a 4x4 to get to Pomene if self driving. Its rustic charm has been maintained, while offering all sorts of creature comforts.
Pomene offers amazing scuba diving in the warm Indian Ocean where huge numbers of pelagic fish abound. Estuary diving at Pomene is popular with seahorses and a wide variety of infant reef fish providing endless entertainment. This lodge is a welcome destination for families, keen divers and fishermen.
Wholesome food is always available at the restaurant.
Accommodation: Catered Water chalets built on stilts, self catering cottages and camp sites.
